Lapeer West traveled to East to take on the Eagles in a doubleheader, May 8 2009. The two teams split the games with West winning the opener and East taking the second game.The games had the usual rivalry atmosphere and were a little chippy. Both teams showed they have class and put aside their differences during the traditional hand shake at the end of the games.
